Happy New Year from
Klamath Falls Adventist Christian School!
Instead of a Christmas gift exchange this year the students worked together to make lap blankets for several of the shut-in or elderly members of the church. The students worked in pairs to make the fleece blankets. The process of making the blankets was lots of fun as the students cooperated in the cutting tying of the fringe. As part of the Christmas party on Tuesday, December 22 the students went in groups to deliver the blankets and some cards that they had made.
In P.E. the children have been working on their jump rope skills. They are working to increase their endurance and timing in preparation for learning jump rope routines and trick jumping. Certificates are being given to the students when they reach milestones such as 50, 100 or 200 jumps without missing. Jumping rope is a great way to improve fitness while having fun, just ask the children.
